with a Watch Party for the Curaçao – Côte d’Ivoire World Cup Match
WILLEMSTAD – June 22, 2026 – Following successful Blue Wave Watch Parties in Germany, Brazil and Argentina, Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) will bring the excitement of Curaçao’s FIFA World Cup journey to Colombia on June 25 with a special Watch Party in Bogotá for the Curaçao – Côte d’Ivoire match. The event will take place at the Curaçao Experience Center, a space designed to inspire Colombians to visit Curaçao.
Throughout the year, the center recreates important Curaçao celebrations, traditions, and cultural moments, allowing Colombian consumers to experience a taste of Curaçao before visiting the island. During the FIFA World Cup, the Experience Center is hosting special Blue Wave activations around Curaçao’s matches, creating excitement and engagement among Colombian consumers while showcasing Curaçao’s culture, hospitality, and national pride.
For Curaçao’s first World Cup match, CTB organized two Watch Parties for strategic partners in Latin America, specifically in São Paulo, Brazil, with 85 guests in attendance, and in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with 70 participants. Guests included tourism industry partners, media representatives, influencers, and content creators. The initiative generated significant media exposure in leading consumer and trade publications including Folha de S.Paulo, ESPN and Panrotas in Brazil and Ladevi and BoardingPax in Argentina, increasing awareness of Curaçao. Curaçao’s World Cup journey continues to serve as an important platform for connecting with prospective travelers, strengthening industry relationships, and increasing Curaçao’s visibility in key target markets.
