Celebrating Curaçao’s World Cup Journey with Key Partners in the Netherlands

WILLEMSTAD – June 23, 2026 – CTB capitalized on the excitement surrounding Curaçao’s first participation in the FIFA World Cup by presenting official Curaçao national team jerseys to several partners in the Dutch market. Through this initiative, CTB strengthened strategic partnerships while increasing Curaçao’s visibility in the Dutch market during this historic moment for the island.

The initiative began with the presentation of the Curaçao jersey to the Mayor of Gouda, Mr. Pieter Verhoeve, during an informal meeting. During the meeting, CTB shared insights on the promotion of Curaçao in the Dutch market and the unique elements that distinguish Curaçao, including its culture, people, and historic World Cup debut.

CTB also presented jerseys to partners in the travel, aviation, trade media and sports industry as a token of appreciation for their continued collaboration and in celebration of Curaçao’s participation in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The occasion provided an opportunity for CTB and its partners to exchange updates and strengthen their relationship. Representatives of KLM, TUI, Reismedia, Travelution, TravMedia, Ajax, and Bright8 were among the partners who received a Curaçao jersey.
