WILLEMSTAD – September 18, 2019 – The Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) and Minister of Economic Development Giselle Mc William recently offered a reception for the “Liga Pabou” Little League Team of 2019. The exceptional performance of these kids at Williamsport put Curaçao’s name square in the limelight internationally. These youngsters came out as champions at the 2019 Little League World Series International Championship and as the first runner-up at the 2019 Little League World Series. The celebration was held in a pleasant atmosphere at Landhuis Brakkeput Mei Mei. As a gift, the young players received mini-golf tickets, courtesy of Landhuis Brakkeput Mei Mei. From the CTB, they each received a Dolphin Encounter as well as an experience in the Ocean Lens Curaçao.
