WILLEMSTAD- May 7, 2018 – Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB), Curaçao Airport Partners (CAP), Curaçao Airport Holding (CAH) and Curaçao Hospitality and Tourism Association (CHATA) are pleased to announce that as of August 3, 2018 Avianca will increase capacity with 4 additional flights per week from Bogota.
Currently Avianca operates 7 flights per week to Curaçao, meaning that as of August 3rd; Curaçao will have a total of 11 flights per week from Bogota, Colombia. The additional non-stop flights from Bogota to Curaçao will be operated on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday departing from Bogota at 7:57AM and arriving in Curaçao at 10:52AM.
These new non-stop flights will provide Curaçao excellent connect-through possibilities to over 108 Avianca destinations in 26 countries. Moreover, the twice-daily service will open more possibilities for Curaçao to expand market-share and attract more visitors especially from Brazil, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile and many more.
Additionally Avianca also announced an upgrade in equipment for the Bogota flights. As of June 17, 2018 the flights will be operated with an Airbus 320, an additional weekly capacity of 350 seats. We look forward to welcoming more visitors from Colombia and other Latin American countries.
