Las Vegas, December 6, 2017 – Curaçao Tourist Board today announced that it has been recognized by Expedia® Media Solutions, the advertising arm of Expedia, Inc., as a winner of its annual 2017 Partner Awards program, which honors innovative marketing campaigns from partners across the globe. Presented at the annual Expedia Partner Conference, the awards acknowledge partner campaigns that demonstrate innovation, creativity and achievement in travel marketing.

With the goal of increasing tourism from the U.S., the Curaçao Tourist Board partnered with Expedia Media Solutions to develop a creative display media campaign. The team launched #RightNowInCuracao, which ran from April to August, and included merchandise emails, social media campaigns, takeovers, display banners and PassportAds. The media campaign was a great success and resulted in a more than 14:1 ROAS.

“We could not be happier to receive this award. It is a true testament to the work we’ve done to promote our beautiful island and an honor for Curaçao to be recognized by Expedia for this successful campaign. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Expedia and bringing more travelers to discover our piece of paradise,” said André Rojer, Marketing Manager, North America.
