CTB recognized industry partners in the Brazilian market

WILLEMSTAD– December 26, 2016 – Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) recently recognized partners and organizations of the industry including travel agencies, airlines and tour operators who gave their support and made Curaçao’s promotional campaigns in the Brazilian market a success. The award given by CTB is in recognition of their hard work and dedication.

CTB’s advertisement agency, Twist & Shout together with Spring, PR-agency for the Brazilian market hosted the industry partners including tour operators CVC, Flytour Viagens, New Age and Orinter & Sanchat at the Figueira Rubaiyat restaurant in São Paulo. InselAir, Avianca and Copa Airlines were also present. Also present was Double Task, Curaçao’s representation in Brazil, who is the point of contact with the various trade partners in Brazil. The award ceremony received massive media coverage by Alpha FM, Antena 1, CARAS Magazine, Mercado & Eventos, O Estado de São Paulo, PANROTAS, Viagem e Turismo Magazine and television program of Brazilian presenters Amaury Jr. and Alvaro Garnero who were also present at the event to receive their respected award for their contribution to promotion of Curaçao in Brazil.

During the same event, Toni Sando, president of São Paulo Convention & Visitors Bureau recognized the partnership between Curaçao and São Paulo Convention & Visitors Bureau and highlighted the success of Curaçao’s publicity campaigns during 2016. According to the latest data available, the marketing efforts conducted throughout 2016 by CTB resulted in a positive increase of Brazilian visitors.
