WILLEMSTAD – July 13th, 2026 – The Curaçao Tourist Board reports that Curaçao’s tourism sector continued its positive performance in June 2026, contributing to the strongest first-half result ever recorded for the destination. Between January and June, Curaçao welcomed 437,086 stayover visitors, representing a 9% increase compared to the 399,967 arrivals recorded during the same period in 2025. This marks the first time Curaçao has welcomed more than 400,000 stayover visitors during the first six months of the year.

June performance

During June 2026, Curaçao recorded 62,867 stayover arrivals, representing a 9% increase compared to the 57,413 visitors welcomed in June 2025. Top 3 source markets in June:

The United States ranked as Curaçao’s second-largest source market in June, with 16,070 stayover visitors, reflecting a 6% decrease compared to June 2025. The decline was largely linked to travel patterns during the FIFA World Cup period. This temporarily reduced inbound visitor volume from the U.S. market. U.S. visitors stayed an average of 5.9 nights. Of these visitors, 66% chose resort hotels, while 34% stayed in alternative accommodations.

Colombia continued its strong performance as Curaçao’s third-largest source market, recording 7,144 stayover arrivals, an increase of 24% compared to June 2025. Colombian visitors stayed an average of 5.3 nights. Resort hotels remained the preferred accommodation for 58% of Colombian visitors, while 42% selected alternative accommodations.
