WILLEMSTAD – January 13, 2026 – The Curaçao Tourist Board is pleased to announce continued growth in tourism performance. Our destination has welcomed 788,427 stayover arrivals in 2025. This accomplishment showcases Curaçao’s growing appeal of the island’s vibrant culture, landscapes, and warm hospitality. This achievement would not have been possible without the continued support of our partners, stakeholders, the community, and most importantly, our valued guests. Compared to 2024, the island recorded a solid 13% growth, welcoming an additional 88,185 stayover visitors throughout the year.
Curaçao’s tourism industry demonstrated continued growth in 2025, driven by strategic initiatives to maintain strong visibility in key source markets. These efforts have successfully reinforced Curaçao’s positioning as a destination where travelers can truly “Feel it for yourself.” From January to December 2025, the island welcomed 788,427 stayover visitors, 44,243 day-trippers, and 881,665 cruise passengers, resulting in a total of 1,714,335 visitor arrivals for the year. This represents a 9% increase in total arrivals compared to 2024, highlighting overall destination growth. Data from our Immigration Cards show that in the year 2025, stayover visitors spent an average of 8.4 nights in Curaçao, and more than half (56%) opted to stay at resort hotels.
December 2025
December 2025 represents another milestone in Curaçao’s tourism success. The island welcomed 80,891 stayover visitors, surpassing the previous record and marking the highest monthly total ever recorded. This reflects a 10% increase compared to December 2024, demonstrating continued momentum in the stayover segment. Strong performance was led by the Netherlands, with continued momentum from the United States of America and Colombia.
Top 3 Source Markets – December 2025
The Netherlands: Curaçao welcomed 26,243 visitors from the Netherlands in December 2025, reflecting a 4% increase compared to December 2024. The average length of stay of the Dutch visitor was approximately 13.7 nights, with most originating from South Holland (27%), North Holland (20%) and North Brabant (13%).
United States of America: Out of the USA, a total of 20,423 stayover arrivals was recorded in December 2025, a 7% increase compared to December 2024. The average length of stay was approximately 6.5 nights. The top states of residency of visitors from the USA are New York (15%), Florida (8%) and Georgia (6%).
Colombia: Visitor arrivals from Colombia totaled 6,902 in December 2025, recording a 29% increase compared to December 2024. Colombian visitors stayed an average of 7 nights, with most originating from Bogotá (32%) and Antioquia (24%).
