WILLEMSTAD- August 8, 2022 – The Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) is pleased to announce that Air Canada will resume its direct flights to Curaçao. Recently, the airline announced its winter schedule to Curaçao, which includes direct flights from Toronto and Montréal. This means that more visitors from Canada can now visit our country. Canada is an important market for Curaçao, which is surely showing potential for growth.
The winter schedule of Air Canada starts on October 7, 2022 with 2 flights per week from Toronto to Curaçao. As of December 19, the flights from Toronto will be increased to 3 times per week. With regards to Montréal, Air Canada will start on October 30 with 1 flight per week and will double this to 2 flights per week as of December 22, 2022. This schedule means that more visitors from Canada can visit our island. At the same time, these routes offer more travel options for our local population as well.
Tourism in Curaçao is on a good path towards growth. All efforts to make Curaçao more accessible for tourists is a joint collaboration with our partners; Curaçao Airport Partners (CAP), Curaçao Airport Holding (CAH) and Curaçao Hospitality & Tourism Association (CHATA), together with local and international airlines.
