WILLEMSTAD- May 31, 2017 – Partnering up with Miami’s own The New Tropic, the Curaçao Tourist Board hosted ‘Bon Nochi: A Tropical Evening Showcasing the Island of Curaçao’ hosting over 1,000 attendees and driving over 640,000 valuable media impressions.
Taking place in Miami’s pop-up entrepreneurial hub, The Wynwood Yard, Curaçao culture infused the night, with everything from samples of Blue Curaçao to a guest appearance by our very own Dushi Hende.
All guests checking in to the event had a chance to fill out a Curaçao-branded “Passport” which required them to interact with all the fun activities happening that evening for a chance to win a trip to the island. A live stream in the Wyn-Box(an on-site apartment-esque building) allowed guests to interact directly with people at an on-island party hosted by Creative-Lab-Curaçao. A freeze-motion photo booth allowed guests to capture the evening and take home a #StayDushi printout. Hilton Curaçao, Papagayo Curaçao and Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort were on site to help spread fun facts about Curaçao, and give out trips to the island. ‘Bon Nochi’ is part of a series of events and promotional initiatives to increase consumer awareness and ultimately drive North American arrivals.
