…With more than 375 participating…
WILLEMSTAD – September 27, 2017 – In connection with the World Tourism Day celebrations held on September 27, the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) invited the community of Curaçao to experience firsthand the island’s tourism product for free. Locals could choose from four tourist attractions: Dinah Veeris’s “Den Paradera”; Landhuis Chobolobo, where the famous Blue Curaçao Liquor and the locally popular Glacial splash lotion are produced; Kas di Pal’i Maishi, to learn more about the island’s history; and Williwood to visit St. Willibrordus church and the area. With ten tours in the morning and nine in the afternoon, the local community was able to get acquainted with and engage in these tourist attractions. All busses left from the CTB’s office, where there was music and drinks the whole day for all who came to take a tour. More than 375 people made use of this unique opportunity to visit these attractions free of charge. The CTB’s aim is to motivate the community to go out and get acquainted with the island’s tourism product at every chance. Curaçao is Dushi. Live it. Love it.
