Tumba Festival, Carnival, and various musical and sports events
WILLEMSTAD – January 19, 2026 – Recently, Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB), in collaboration with the Association of Musicians and Artists of Curaçao (AMAK), representatives of Jacky Circuit / Curaçao Autosport Foundation (FAC) and Easy Riders Curaçao, held a media tour in Aruba. The community of Aruba was cordially invited to visit Curaçao for the Tumba Festival, Carnival, and various musical and sports events scheduled for the first half of 2026. Special attention was given to Curaçao’s qualification for the FIFA World Cup 2026, inviting Aruba to experience the “Blue Wave” vibe in Curaçao during the football matches.
The Tumba Festival is a very popular event among visitors from Aruba. Jair ‘Buddy’ Vesprey from Aruba will participate once again together with the musical band Icons and Dwight Leoneta will participate in Tumba 2026 as an arranger. In addition, as announced by AMAK, the popular singer Jeon from Aruba will give a special performance on the opening night of the Tumba Festival. This year’s edition promises to be an exciting celebration filled with great energy.
Aruba was also invited to attend the upcoming Drag Race event, Pinks All Out, next April, featuring racers from the Netherlands, the United States, Puerto Rico, and Aruba. In addition, Easy Riders Curaçao will host its traditional motorcycle ride in celebration of Flag Day. This year marks the 27th anniversary of the ride.
