WILLEMSTAD – June 5, 2025 – Miss Universe 2024, Victoria Kjaer Theilvig is visiting Curaçao! Curaçao is the first country in the Caribbean to be visited by Miss Universe 2024 as part of the official Miss Universe Global Tour organized by the Miss Universe Organization. To celebrate this special moment, Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) in close collaboration with Curaçao Beauty Pageant Committee, organized a Welcome Reception for Miss Universe 2024. The reception included welcome remarks from the Minister of Economic Development, Mr. Charles Cooper and CTB Managing Director, Mr. Muryad de Bruin. During the reception, Minister Cooper presented Miss Universe 2024, Victoria Kjaer Theilvig, with a beautiful painting by local artist Deidre Polonius, showcasing an artistic impression of Miss Universe 2024 standing on the Queen Emma Floating Bridge admiring our colorful Handelskade.
As part of her visit, CTB arranged a special program for the days Miss Universe 2024 will be in Curaçao, allowing her to experience our beautiful island, taste our local cuisine, and engage with the local community. The program includes, among other activities, a tour of the historic Punda district, and a festive walk to the Curaçao sign together with a brass band and people dressed in Carnival costumes, where photos will be taken. She will also visit Kas di Pal’i Maishi for an authentic experience of Curaçao’s cultural heritage. In addition, she will dive into the vibrant underwater world that surrounds our island. A special moment in the program will be Miss Universe 2024’s visit to the children at the Ronald McDonald House Charities Curaçao Foundation to deliver gifts.
To conclude her visit to Curaçao, Miss Universe 2024, Victoria Kjaer Theilvig, will be the guest of honor at the Miss Universe Curaçao 2025 pageant, which will take place this Saturday.
