National Tourism Conference 2024

Welcome to the National Tourism Conference 2024

The Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) and the Ministry of Economic Development (MEO), in partnership with Curaçao Hospitality & Tourism Association (CHATA), are proud to present the National Tourism Conference on World Tourism Day, September 27th. The event will center on the theme of sustainable growth in the tourism industry.

In the lead-up to this conference, we conducted five pre-conference sessions. These sessions addressed critical topics, including identifying the challenges and strengths of Curaçao as a tourist destination, promoting diversity and authenticity, enhancing community involvement in tourism, and developing strategies to remain competitive both locally and globally. The pre-conference sessions produced preliminary resolutions which will be further discussed during the conference on World Tourism Day, aiming to reach final resolutions. These final resolutions will be translated into concrete actions.
