WILLEMSTAD – December 16, 2025 – The Curaçao Tourist Board is pleased to announce continued growth in tourism performance, recording a solid 9% growth in stayover arrivals compared to November of the previous year. A total of 65,378 stayover visitors were welcomed in November 2025.
Performance by region was positive from South America, North America and Europe. South America recorded a 21% increase in arrivals, North America grew by 19%, and Europe increased by 4% compared to November 2024. In contrast, the Caribbean region recorded a decline of 27%. In absolute numbers, Europe remained the main source region with 26,006 stayover visitors, followed by North America with 22,105 and South America with 13,596 stayover visitors. According to Immigration Card data, visitors stayed an average of 8.3 nights during the month of November.
Top 3 Source Markets – November 2025
The Netherlands: Curaçao welcomed 21,537 visitors from the Netherlands in November 2025, reflecting a 3% increase compared to November 2024. The average length of stay of the Dutch visitor was approximately 11.7 nights.
United States of America: Out of the USA, a total of 15,898 arrivals was recorded in November 2025, a 8% increase compared to the same month last year. The average length of stay was approximately 5.8 nights.
Canada: Visitor arrivals from Canada totaled 6,207 in November 2025, recording a 60% increase compared to November 2024. Canadian visitors stayed an average of about 8.1 nights.
Year to date highlights: January to November 2025
Stayover arrivals recorded a year to date growth of 13%, highlighting consistent performance and further strengthening of Curaçao’s position as a competitive destination withing the Caribbean region. In absolute numbers, this growth reflects a total of 707,546 arrivals until November 2025.
The overall tourism results for the period January through November grew by 9%, totaling 1.4 million visitors. The distribution between stayover, cruise and day trippers is 47.6%, 49.7% and 2.7% respectively.
