Curaçao Welcomes Inaugural flights of LATAM from Lima and Bogotá

December 3, 2025

WILLEMSTAD – December 2, 2025 –On December 2nd, Curaçao welcomed two inaugural flights from LATAM, the largest airline group in Latin America. First the LATAM flight from Bogotá, Colombia landed, followed later in the day by the flight from Lima, Peru —introducing Lima as a new route for Curaçao. Flights from Bogotá will operate three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. The Lima – Curaçao route will also operate three times weekly, on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The new connection from Peru aligns with Curaçao’s strategic goal of opening more travel links with South America, making Curaçao more accessible to the region. At the same time, the new LATAM connections offer more travel options for our local community.

As a key partner, LATAM helps strengthen Curaçao’s position as a leading tourist destination. Travelers from South America consistently seek authentic destinations where they can experience local culture, history, and heritage—something Curaçao proudly offers. During the ceremony, Minister of Economic Development, Roderick Middelhof, Gonzalo Ramirez, Director of Operations North America of LATAM, Ricardo Hernández, CEO Curaçao Airport Partners and from Curaçao Airport Holding, Priscilla Duin – Circkens, Chief Strategy Officer and Julian Diaz de Pool, Commercial Manager delivered remarks. Later, Minister Middelhof and Curaçao Tourist Board represented by Muryad de Bruin, CTB Managing Director and Hugo Clarinda, Deputy Director, along with other partners, presented commemorative plaques to Mr. Gonzalo Ramirez of LATAM in appreciation of the inaugural flights. Both plaques highlight beautiful views of Curaçao’s city center.

The Government of Curaçao, the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB), Curaçao Airport Partners (CAP), Curaçao Airport Holding (CAH), and the Curaçao Hospitality & Tourism Association (CHATA) extend their congratulations to LATAM on the new Lima – Curaçao and Bogotá – Curaçao routes!
