WILLEMSTAD – October 21, 2025 –Recently,theCuraçao Tourist Board (CTB) and private sector partners participated in the Feria Internacional de Turismo (International Tourism Fair – FIT) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. CTB participated with the goal of connecting with consumers, wholesalers, and travel advisors to showcase the diverse and unique tourism offerings of the destination. During the first two days, attendees included consumers and travel advisors, while the last two days were dedicated exclusively to tourism professionals.
FIT 2025 hosted approximately 140,000 visitors, of which 40,000 were professionals from Argentina and various countries across the Cono Sur region. This year, Curaçao featured a colorful stand highlighting the island’s iconic pontoon bridge, the Handelskade, and stunning views of its beaches. Throughout the four-day fair, the Curaçao team presented attractive travel packages designed to inspire visitors to choose Curaçao for their next vacation. The team also held strategic meetings with wholesalers such as Aero, Travel Services, Ola and Almundo, as well as with online travel agencies such as booking.com and Almundo. In addition, the team gave numerous interviews to trade media outlets including Ladevi, Diario de Turismo, Report, Rumbo Trade and Mensajero Turistico, as well as to mass media outlets such as Telfe Neuquen and La terraza de Rosario, among many others.
Participation in tourism fairs such as FIT provides valuable opportunities to engage both potential tourists and tourism professionals.
