WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) recently participated in an interesting Road Show for travel agents of New Age. The ‘New Age Road Show’ consisted of several workshops, giving opportunity to CTB to train the travel agents on sales techniques. The agents received pointers specifically on the Curaçao market, with the intention of helping them in their pitch. These sessions took place in different cities; Uberlandia, Uberaba, Franca and in Ribeirao Preto.
The objective was mainly to increase the number of visitors from Brazil to Curaçao. CTB took advantage of these workshops to increase the curiosity of all travel agents, giving tips and specific details they can use when selling Curaçao as a Caribbean destination. CTB also gave different presentations during the workshops, varying from accommodations, shopping experiences, nightlife, gastronomy, beaches and diving locations. Four days of extensive workshops, with more than 250 participants including more than 100 travel agents.
